Walnut Fudge
Thousands of years ago walnuts grew wild
over Europe and Asia before being cultivated as a delicacy in
ancient Italy, Spain, Greece, India, China and Japan.
The Spanish brought the walnut tree to California in the
1700's. Today California is the only producer of commercially
grown walnuts in the United States.
